Parish Council Questionnaire Results

The highest priority was clearly the future of the Baker's Arms, which we will be looking into immediately and feeding back at the next parish council meeting.

The second priority was 'the foreshore'. We are currently pursuing how we can best ensure visitors help us maintain this beauty spot.

The third priority was 'public transport'. Compared with a few years ago we now have a very poor bus service through the village. However, the parish council is currently talking to our counterparts in Erwarton and Holbrook about putting in a bid to the County Council for an improved service (maybe a minibus or similar) along the south of the peninsula. This would connect up with the regular bus service through Holbrook and thence on to Ipswich or Manningtree. We'll let you know how we get on with this bid.
